Balloon aortic valvuloplasty and rapid ventricular pacing have been identified with inherent risks that can result in hemodynamic disturbance and severe complications during Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI). Here, we report a case of cardiac arrest occurring after balloon aortic valvuloplasty which was managed by urgent cardiopulmonary bypass and postoperative extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, the elderly patient had a good prognosis after TAVI.
