It publishes original scientific work related to strategic and applied studies in all aspects of plant biology and agricultural science as well as reviews of scientific topics of current agricultural relevance specific topics of interest include (but are not confined to) Plant Cell Biology, Plant Biochemistry, Plant Genetics, Plant Diseases, Plant-Microbe Interactions, Plant Breeding, Hybridization, Genetically Modified Crops, Role of Various Genetic Concepts and Principles in Crop Improvement, Reproduction in Plants, Mode of Pollination, and the Scientific Underpinning of agronomy, Soil Science, Land use, Environmental impacts of agriculture and forestry, Impacts of Climate Change, Rural Biodiversity, Experimental Design and Statistical Analysis, and the Application of new analytical and study methods (including genetic diversity and molecular biology approaches).

The journal also publishes short communications, commentaries, opinion, Image articles and letters.

An author can get a faster response of pre-review maximum in 3 days since submission, and a review process by the reviewer maximum in 5 days, followed by revision/publication in 2 days. If the article gets notified for revision by the handling editor, then it will take another 5 days for external review by the previous reviewer or alternative reviewer.
